6 Reasons Mobile Crews Pick Mobile Service Sync Over Workiz

  1. License Plate to VIN Lookup on Every Plan

Workiz has no vehicle record and no VIN lookup. Here the vehicle is where every job starts.

Type a plate and state and the VIN, year, make, model, trim and engine fill in, and a VIN decodes the same way. It works in the office, in the tech app, and on your booking page, where the customer types their own plate. Oil weight and capacity are saved on the vehicle, so the next visit starts with them.

  2. One Click Puts Each Van's Day in Order

Workiz plans routes by assigning jobs to the nearest technician. Ours puts each van's stops in order on real drive times.

Drag jobs onto a tech, then one click sequences that tech's stops on real Mapbox drive times. Every van's stops sit on one map, and moving a stop to another van is one drag. When the margin is the drive between driveways, this is the screen that pays for the software.

Schedule map view: each technician's route color-coded across the city, stops listed in arrival order with one-click optimize
  3. Texting Lives on the Customer Record

At Workiz, two-way texting comes with Genius Phone, sold separately. Here it is on every plan.

Two-way texting threaded into each customer, registered for A2P 10DLC, with photos both ways. 1,000 texts a month on Core, 5,000 on Growth, 10,000 on Pro.

The shared inbox in the web CRM: a customer SMS thread with booking confirmation, gate code, and on-my-way text
  4. Stock Counted Per Van

Workiz tracks inventory, on a vehicle or anywhere else, on its top Ultimate plan only. Stock per van is on every plan here.

Oil, filters and parts are counted per van and per shop location, come off the van's count when the job is completed, and the tech app shows what is on board with a restock request.

Inventory list with oil, filters, and drain plugs: SKUs, brand, cost, sell price, and on-hand counts, with low stock flagged
  5. Every Vehicle Gets Its Own Next-Due Date

Without a vehicle record, Workiz reminders follow service plans. Ours follow each vehicle.

When a job closes, the vehicle gets a due date from its own interval, its fleet's default, or how often it actually comes back. Switch reminders on and the customer gets an email, plus a text if they opted in, with a link to book the next one.

    app.mobileservicesync.com / customers
A fleet customer's record: next service due, lifetime value, and each vehicle with its VIN, plate and mileage
  6. One Price, Month to Month

Workiz asks you to request pricing, and every plan is an annual contract. Ours is on the pricing page, and month to month.

Core is $49 a month, Growth is $175 with two users, and Pro is $299 with five. Extra users are $29. Plate lookup, routing, the tech app, payments, reviews and QuickBooks sync are on every plan. No contract, no onboarding fee, and 14 days free without a card.
