When does Mobile Service Sync go live?
Summer 2026. Anyone on the waitlist gets early TestFlight + dev access weeks before general availability.
Is the pricing flat, or do we pay per user?
It's flat per shop. Core $49/mo (1 user, capped at 1). Growth $175/mo (2 users included, $29/mo per additional user). Pro $299/mo (5 users included, $29/mo per additional user). No per-feature add-ons, no usage fees beyond two-way texting overage (5,000/mo included, $5 per 1,000 after).
Do I need to switch from Tekmetric?
Only if the mobile-shop and fleet-portal features of Mobile Service Sync would actually move the needle for you. If your shop is a traditional bay-door operation, stay with Tekmetric.
How does payment processing work?
Card processing and text-to-pay are powered by Rainforest. Our flat rate is 2.9% + $0.30 per card transaction, passed through with no markup from us.
Will the mobile app cost extra?
No. The mobile app is included on every paid plan at no additional cost.
Can I import my existing customer list?
Yes. We'll do the migration for you - CSV, screenshot of an old spreadsheet, whatever you have.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It's yours. You can export every customer, vehicle, job, and invoice as CSV at any time. On cancellation we keep your data live for 30 days so you can re-import to another system, then permanently delete on request.
Do you offer migration from Tekmetric or Shopmonkey?
Yes. We import customers, vehicles, service history, and outstanding invoices from any of them. Send us a CSV export from your current tool and we'll have you live in a day.
What does 'SOC 2 in progress' mean for my data?
We follow SOC 2 controls today (encrypted-at-rest data on Neon Postgres, audited access logs, MFA on every admin login). Formal SOC 2 Type II audit is targeted for late 2026. See /trust for the current state.
