Can I try it before I pay?
Yes. Every plan starts with a free 14-day trial, no credit card required. Create your account and you're up and running the same day.
Is the pricing flat, or do we pay per user?
It's flat per shop. Core $49/mo includes every feature except Customer Portals and Fleet Sales, capped at 1 user and 20 jobs per month. Growth $175/mo lifts both caps and adds Customer Portals (2 users included, $29/mo per additional user, unlimited jobs). Pro $299/mo adds the Fleet Sales pipeline (5 users included, $29/mo per additional user). No per-feature add-ons, no usage fees beyond two-way texting overage ($5 per 1,000 over your plan's included texts).
What counts toward Core's 20 jobs per month?
Every work order you schedule (manually or via online booking) counts; imported demo data does not. The first month you go over 20 is a free pass with a heads-up. After that, Core caps at 20 jobs per month until you upgrade to Growth for unlimited jobs.
Do I need to switch from Tekmetric?
Only if the mobile-shop and fleet-portal features of Mobile Service Sync would actually move the needle for you. If your shop is a traditional bay-door operation, stay with Tekmetric.
How does payment processing work?
Card processing and text-to-pay are powered by Rainforest. Standard cards run at 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction; AmEx, business, and international cards carry a small published surcharge. The full fee schedule is on the payment processing page - published up front, never a month-end surprise.
Will the mobile app cost extra?
No. The mobile app is included on every paid plan at no additional cost.
Can I import my existing customer list?
Yes. We'll do the migration for you - CSV, screenshot of an old spreadsheet, whatever you have.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It's yours. You can export every customer, vehicle, job, and invoice as CSV at any time. On cancellation we keep your data live for 30 days so you can re-import to another system, then permanently delete on request.
Do you offer migration from Tekmetric or Shopmonkey?
Yes. We import customers, vehicles, service history, and outstanding invoices from any of them. Send us a CSV export from your current tool and we'll have you live in a day.
What does 'SOC 2 in progress' mean for my data?
We follow SOC 2 controls today (encrypted-at-rest data on Neon Postgres, audited access logs, MFA on every admin login). Formal SOC 2 Type II audit is targeted for late 2026. See /trust for the current state.
